Privacy Policy

Effective 22 August 2026 · Last updated 22 August 2026

The short version. Quiverborne has no accounts and no servers of our own. Your progress is saved on your iPhone and never sent to us. The one thing that does reach a third party is advertising: rewarded videos are served by Google AdMob, which may use a device identifier to show and measure ads. You control that with the consent form and Apple’s tracking prompt, and you can change your mind at any time.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy explains how the iPhone game Quiverborne (“the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information, and how information is handled on the website at quiverborne.com.

Questions about anything below go to support@quiverborne.com.

2. We do not ask you for personal information

There is no sign-up, no login, no email address, no username and no profile. You can install the app and play the whole game without giving us anything.

3. What the app stores on your device

The following is written to your iPhone’s own storage and stays there. It is not transmitted to us and we cannot read it:

  • Game progress — best score and distance, coins, hero and weapon shards, unlocked heroes and bows, talent nodes, dungeon stars and daily sign-in state
  • Your settings — graphics quality, sound, haptics, reduce-motion
  • Whether the Lifetime VIP purchase has been unlocked

Deleting the app deletes all of it. There is no cloud backup of game progress on our side, so we cannot restore a save for you.

4. Third parties that do receive data

ServiceWhat it may receiveWhy
Google AdMob
(rewarded video ads)
Device advertising identifier (IDFA, only if you allow tracking), a non-resettable device identifier, IP address, coarse location derived from IP, device and OS information, and ad interaction and measurement data To select, deliver, cap, measure and bill for the rewarded videos you choose to watch, and to detect ad fraud
Google User Messaging Platform Your consent choices and the region signal used to decide which form to show To collect and store your advertising consent where the law requires it
Apple Game Center
(optional)
Your Game Center identity and the scores you submit — handled entirely by Apple Leaderboards. If you do not sign in to Game Center, nothing is submitted
Apple App Store / StoreKit Purchase and receipt information — handled entirely by Apple To process the Lifetime VIP purchase and let you restore it. We never see your payment details

Their policies apply to what they collect: Google Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services, Apple Privacy Policy.

5. Tracking, and how to turn it off

Because AdMob may use the IDFA for advertising across apps, the app declares tracking in its Apple privacy manifest. You are always in control of it:

  • Apple’s tracking prompt (ATT). On first launch iOS asks whether Quiverborne may track you across apps and websites. If you decline, the IDFA is not available and ads become non-personalised.
  • The consent form. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a Google-certified consent form appears before any ad is requested, and your choices are recorded there.
  • Change your mind later. Where your region requires consent for personalised ads, open the app and go to Settings › Privacy Options to reopen the consent form and change or withdraw your choices. You can withdraw app tracking permission at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
  • Reset your advertising identifier. iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Apple Advertising.

Declining tracking or consent does not lock you out of anything. You still get rewarded videos; they are simply less targeted.

6. Children

Quiverborne is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app or this website, write to support@quiverborne.com and we will act on it.

7. This website

quiverborne.com is a plain informational site. It sets no advertising or analytics cookies of its own. Our host may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser user agent, requested page) for security and troubleshooting. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the request IP in the process.

8. Retention and deletion

We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing on our side to retain or delete. To erase everything the app stores, delete the app from your iPhone. For data held by Google or Apple, use the controls in section 5 or contact them directly under their own policies.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to it. Because we do not hold personal data, requests concerning advertising data should be directed to Google, and requests concerning your Apple account or purchases to Apple. You are welcome to write to us first at support@quiverborne.com and we will point you to the right place.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Security

Because game data never leaves your device, the main protection is iOS itself — app sandboxing and device encryption. Traffic between the app and its advertising and store partners is encrypted in transit.

11. International transfers

Google and Apple operate globally and may process the data described above in countries other than your own, under the safeguards described in their respective privacy policies.

12. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page and, when the change is significant, note it in the app’s release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
